Project Description

Some clients really need a new addition and that was definitely the case with this project as the clients’ existing family room was a converted porch that was both sinking and rotting away. A unique request on this project was the desire to have a study area within the greater family room for the kids to use as their homework station. We strive to plan all our family computer areas in more public spaces so parents can observe without intruding and this project took that idea to a whole new level. Another interesting aspect to this addition was the screened porch with a built-in grill that shared a chimney with the family room fireplace.
